My home designed by me 🥹🏠🤍 I call this my safe space,”Aditi Bhatia beams. After looking at so many apartments, the moment I walked into this one, I just knew it was my dream home. The sweet breeze, the view & sunset hour made it love at first sight…While I looked around this space, it not only felt like a sanctuary but also told a story of who I am. As an actress, I needed a separate space to get ready, especially for my fittings,” Aditi explains, pointing to her glam/vanity room. This room also lets me explore my femininity, letting me dive into fashion with all of my pieces arranged neatly. Aditi’s mornings often begin in her quirky, cheerful kitchen, where she finds joy in cooking. The glam room becomes her creative hub for dancing, working (and working out), and shoots; while her serene bedroom is her sanctuary to unwind with movies on the projector. Self-care rituals take center stage in her dream bathroom, complete with a spacious skincare closet. Afternoons are spent with her mum and dogs in the cosy living room, which doubles as the perfect spot for game nights or hosting friends in the dining nook. Her mother’s art corner and the charming, English inspired passageway filled echo warmth and togetherness throughout the home. After living in this apartment for close to a year, Aditi looks at the space as a personal journey in learning herself better, which she hopes to share with her audience. “I’ve discovered what I really do like and what I don’t, and actually found a sense of individuality somewhere along the way.” No matter the kind of day I have had, the minute I enter my house, it puts a smile on my face because it transports me to a safe place, my safe space…my very own home” While her friends often debate whether her home resembles one in London, a quirky space in LA or even a truly modern Indian house, Bhatia shares that her inspiration came in little by little, from places she traveled to over the years. “I’m so glad people see that, it makes me feel like the essence of my life reflects in every room, and as long as it can blend together and make sense to me, it’s all good!” Architect- @shreya.porey Photos by @thekuber
