Our migrant workers have much to celebrate this year as pandemic restrictions have been gradually eased and they are in a better circumstance to visit the community compared to last year. We thank our migrant workers for their hard work and contributions to our nation’s development. We also thank them for being so patient and resilient in dealing with the work and lifestyle changes that came with the Covid-19 pandemic even though many of them must be feeling homesick and worried themselves for not being able to go out freely or visit their friends. In this short video clip, which was played during the virtual show for the @ntucsingapore May Day Migrant Workers Celebration organised by @mwcsg, I wanted to let our migrant workers know that MWC will always be championing the interests of our migrant workers. More importantly, please observe all workplace safety and health measures, and look out for other fellow workers to keep everyone safe and sound.
