The European Chemicals Agency is requesting new animal tests for ingredients with a history of safe use – even those solely used in cosmetics. Animal testing for cosmetics should be a thing of the past thanks to the modern, human-relevant safety science that’s been developed over many decades. That’s why we’ve united with other cruelty free brands and NGOs like @PETAUK, @CrueltyFreeEU, HSI Europe, Eurogroup for Animals and the ECEAE to help #SaveCrueltyFreeCosmetics and #EndAnimalTesting for good. Together, we’re urging EU citizens to sign the European Citizens’ Initiative calling for the EU’s ban on animal testing for cosmetics to be upheld. EU citizens, please defend your right to buy cruelty free cosmetics now. UK citizens, you can also take action! Plans to align with the EU are putting the UK’s longstanding ban at risk.
