The film about Matt Glenn and my expedition to Nepal and our first ascent on Tengkangpoche is now online (link in bio) I think it was a helluva trip and a fun alpine route. There were many moments which were totally wild about the climbing, and the route was a real battle. It wasn’t always obvious if we could find a way upwards There was also plenty of moments of hilarity, exhaustion and humility (like walking out of the mountains straight after getting down from the route, totally gassed; and meeting the Sherpas who’ve climbed Everest many, many times). This video didn’t make the cut to the short film (unsurprisingly…). It’s our obligatory trekking guide Sherku doing some funky dancing when we stopped for more tea and biscuits on the hike back to Lukla, the last stop before getting out of the mountains. Our legs were trashed and our heads tired (partly from the hangover!).
