Global sustainability models often look ideal on paper but how effectively can they be adapted to India’s realities? At the Two-Day(s) Interdisciplinary International Conference on 'From Regulations to Revenue: Analyzing India’s Green Economy & Trade Policy,' Panel Discussion - IV addressed this question head-on. Theme: Global Models, Local Realities: Can India Adapt International Sustainability Frameworks Effectively? Dr. Tilottama Raychaudhuri, Professor The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences, Kolkata, discussed adapting international frameworks to local contexts, while Dr Aman Deep Singh, Associate Professor, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, explored comparative legal approaches. Dr. Chitra Saruparia, Associate Professor, National Law University, Jodhpur, highlighted implementation and coordination challenges, and Dr. Hiteshkumar Thakkar, Assistant Professor, Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, examined the economic and policy dimensions of such adaptation. 🎙️ Moderated by Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh HADLI, Professor of Law, Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur, discussion reinforced that meaningful sustainability requires contextual innovation.
