Hello friends! 👋 This is the Ferrari Daytona SP3. A car that needs no introduction. For the model, I specifically chose the 2025 tailor made version as I really like the livery and colors on the car. I also wanted to make a version of the SP3 that hasn't been made by anyone yet. As far as the build goes, everything we pretty smoothly until the rear. For a reference, this car has the most complex internal structure of any of my models. Despite being in the Speed Champions scale, the car features a technic frame in the inside which allowed for a smooth transition from 8 to 9 studs with the fancy rear end wheel arches. The curviness of the car was definitely the most important aspect of the build. The real car has such a presence of muscle and organic curvature which was challenging but super fun to create in Lego form. Luckily, these days Lego has so many curved wedges that actually making the build smooth was not too difficult. I ensured that from all views, you are able to see the distinct shaping of the car. I'd like to thank @thegbrix and @mr_timely_manner for some inspiration for the front and rear 👏 If you haven't already noticed with the Ford GT I posted a previously, I have started to venture into the world of custom prints.
