The butter chicken of your dreams🧡✨
Full recipe below

Ingredients for Butter Chicken:

-5 chicken thighs
-Greek yogurt
-Double cream
-Butter
-1 tin chopped tomatoes 
-1 onion
-5 cloves garlic
-Thumb size ginger
-1 bay leaf
-1 cinnamon stick
-Mixed curry powder
-Coriander powder
-Cumin powder
-Turmeric 
-Paprika
-Salt

Ingredients for Garlic Naan: Makes 8 naans

-4 cups flour
-5 cloves garlic
-Ghee
-Butter
-Fresh coriander

Method: 

1. Cut your chicken thighs in cubes and marinate it with 1tsp each of mixed curry powder, coriander, cumin, turmeric, paprika and salt. Add 3 tablespoons of yogurt and leave it to marinate for 1 hour maximum.

2. On a pan, add some oil and cook your chicken off. Take it out and leave aside.

3. On the same pan, add 1 bay leaf and 1 cinnamon stick. Add 1 diced onion and grated garlic and ginger. Brown your onions. 

4. Add the same spices you used to marinate your chicken and cook it off for 10 mins. 

5. Add 1 tin of chopped tomatoes and 300ml double cream. Stir and leave it to simmer for 5 mins.

6. Take bay leaf and cinnamon stick out. Blend your sauce. Either blend in the pan or take it out and put in a blender as blending in the pan can make it splatter. 

7. Add the sauce back in the pan and add 1/4 of a block butter and let it melt in the sauce.

8. Add your chicken back in and let it simmer for 10 mins. Top with extra double cream on top and garnish with fresh coriander.

To make the garlic naan:

1. Add 4 cups of flour. 2tsp of yeast and garlic powder

2. Whisk and add 1 cup of water. Knead the dough. (Add more water if its dry or add more flour if the dough is very mushy) 

3. Leave the dough aside to allow it to rise for 30 mins.

4. Take some piece out of the dough and roll into a ball and roll them flat. (Make them thin- but not too thin that they break)

5. Cook on a pan or on top of gas stove flame. 

To make the garlic paste:

Melt some butter, add 2tsp ghee, 5 grated garlic and fresh coriander. Mix and spread across naan.
