여전히 오해하시는 분이 많은 거 같아서 덧붙입니다. 일회용 플라스틱 문제는 ‘나는 분리배출해서 잘 버리는데, 아무렇게나 버리는 이해할 수 없는 사람들 때문에 생기는’ 문제가 아니에요. 제대로 분리배출한 플라스틱의 재활용률은 10% 내외 밖에 되지 않고, 제대로 버린 쓰레기도 상당량 비바람에 쓸려 바다로 유입됩니다. 호주, 캐나다, 인도, 중국 등에서 이미 일회용 플라스틱의 생산, 수입, 판매 금지의 범위를 넓혀가고 있어요. 생산과 소비 그 자체를 획기적으로 줄여야 하는 것이죠.
